Garden Photos
Our organic gardening project is underway and we have many colorful garden photos showing the fruits of our labor. As you can see in our garden photos we've been blessed with a bounty of garden fresh vegetables and delicious greens.
Okra
In past year's okra has grown great prolifically. This year it is slow to produce fruit and we aren't sure why. We suspect that the alkalinity of the soil and well water may be contributing to stunted growth. To remedy this, we are preparing compost as an acidic fertilizer. In addition, we've employed the organic gardening technique of applying coffee grounds at the base of plants that need a boost.
