Installing Solar Panels

Patrick is quite a handyman when it comes to solar power. He is often over at one of our neighbor's houses to assess their power needs, install new solar panels, or to troubleshoot power system failures. On this particular visit Patrick was installing two 55 watt panels into an already existing solar power system. He mounted them to a steel frame and wired them in parallel before hoisting them to the roof. Once panels are mounted and exposed to sunlight, their wires are live, making the rest of the installation a little more challenging. With care, Patrick is able to safely connect the panel wires into the existing power system. In this instance, the new panels doubled our neighbor's power intake!
